October 27 CFP Class #10Sigh ... time flies and now this is class #10 already.
2 more to go and then I am done for this round.
Mock exam is on December 4th and exam is on December 17th...scary lei!
Despite being tired after a long day at work and hacking the traffic to be here, I actually still look forward to class every Thursday evening.
Why, you may ask, do I make myself go through this?
 Well, I guess I have always believe that we should be financial savvy ... at least some level of awareness.
Have you ever seen people who earn loads of money but are in great debts?
 Have you ever seen people who retire and can no longer work, but do not have the means to sustain their lifestyle?
 Have you ever seen the people in the hospitals, diagnosed with an illness they know they cannot afford to pay?
 I would really hate to be in that position ... so I am taking steps to prepare myself to be more aware of my financial standings and options. I do not want to burden my kid(s) when I am old, I do not want to depend on my spouse and I certainly do not want to depend on the government!
I am also a big fan of Robert Kiyosaki and anyone who have read his books will certainly be a little kiasu after that.
Actually, starting this course is also an after effect of reading his book - Cashflow Quadran.
But sometimes I also wonder why I am doing this and all I need to do is to flip some pages from Kiyosaki's book and I am ready to go on again!
